PURPOSE: To reduce the deflection of a arbor shaft in cutting time and to improve the stability of a cutting work by arranging an annular additional holder which is firmly held with the arbor shaft being spread by the internal pressure on two parallel arbor shafts.
CONSTITUTION: On an arbor shaft 1A plural annular knives 5A are fitted and similarly plural annular additional holders 6A, 7A are fitted at the center part in the axial direction on the shaft 1A. The annular knife 5A and additional holders 6A, 7A are fitted from the shaft end of the arbor shaft 1A under the state of the arbor shaft 1A coming out of a stand 3 without receiving the internal pressure in a gap 4A and are slided to the specific position. Thereafter, the arbor shaft 1A is spread by receiving the internal pressure, and the annular knife 5A and additional holders 6A, 7A are firmly held on the arbor shaft 1A. On a arbor shaft 1B also an annular knife 5B, additional holders 6B, 7B are firmly held similar to the above. Consequently the arbor shafts 1A, 1B are reinforced at their bending rigidity and the deflection at working time is reduced.
