Title:
SLIVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61174540
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled material having a high sensitivity against an infra-red light and a low sensitivity against a visible light by providing on a substrate, the silver halide emulsion layer having the max. sensitization in the range longer than a specific wavelength, and by providing on said emulsion layer a non-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layer contg. a water soluble dyestuff having the max. absorption in the range shorter than said wavelength of the emulsion layer.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide emulsion layer having the max. sensitization which is a long wavelength of ≥750nm. and containing a coloring matter of a tricarbocyanine or dicarbocyanine contg. 4-quinoline ring is formed on the substrate. The non-sensitive hydrophilic colloid layer contg. the water soluble dyestuff such as a pyrazolone type dyestuff shown by the formula and having the max. absorption in the short wavelength of 750W600nm is formed on said emulsion layer. Thus the photographic sensitive material capable of handling under a bright safety visible light and having a high sensitivity against the infra-red ray and a less tendency for generating a fog is obtd. the titled material can be handled in a light room during a gravure process.
