Abstract:
To provide a slot array antenna in which it is possible to make multiple antenna elements emit proper radiation according to the purpose.SOLUTION: A slot array antenna 501 includes a conductive member 110 having multiple slots 112 arranged on a conductive surface and in a first direction along the conductive surface, a waveguide member 122 facing the slots 112 and having a conductive waveguide surface extending in the first direction, and artificial magnetic conductors on both sides of the waveguide member 122. At least one of the conductive member 110 and waveguide member 122 has multiple recesses, increasing the interval of the conductive surface and the waveguide surface more than the adjoining part, on the conductive surface and/or the waveguide surface. The multiple recesses includes a first recess, a second recess and a third recess arranged side by side in the order in the first direction. Distance between centers of the first and second recesses is different from distance between centers of the second and third recesses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14A
