Abstract:
To provide a slot rod inspection method that can check partial deformation of slot ribs, and to provide a manufacturing method that manufactures optical fiber cables as checking the deformation of the slot rib.SOLUTION: The present disclosure relates to an inspection device (exemplified with a slot rod inspection device 20) that inspects a slot rod 2 having a plurality of slot ribs extending radially from a center. The slot rod inspection device comprises: an annular sensor unit that can insert slot rods; a rib inspection unit (exemplified with a clip part 38) that contacts with the slot rib advancing inside the sensor unit; and a control unit 50 that determines irregularity of a slot groove to be formed by adjacent slot ribs on the basis of a formation direction of the slot rib detected by the sensor unit and detection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
