Abstract:
To shorten the time from the order to delivery and to reduce a storage space.
A slotting cutter 10 is structurally divided into two parts of a central adapter part and a cutter part 14. The central adapter part is a disc having an F-type or S-type adapter 12. The cutter part is an annular ring having a cut insert housing pocket or a cartridge housing pocket. The cutter part 14 and a main body part 16 are individually manufactured and assembled by a thermal contraction method to form the slotting cutter 10.
