Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the satisfactory moderation with respect to slow-down by providing a turning plate turning through a fitting axis from a lavatory seat side as the seat is opened and closed, on the rear of a slow-down mechanism main body, and attaching a plate spring for pinching the turning plate at the time when the seat is in an erected state.
CONSTITUTION: The rear of a case 8 of a slow-down mechanism main body 4 is covered with a cover plate 15, and on its outside, a turning plate 17 is disposed, and on both end parts of the plate 17, detaining pieces 17a, 17a are formed. Also, on both side parts of a pressing elastic part 18a of a plate spring 18 attached to the cover plate 15, a pair of ball holes 18a, 18d are formed. In a holding plate 20 placed in the inside of this plate spring 18, ball holes 20b, 20b are formed, and between the plate spring 18 and this holding plate 20, balls 19 made of steel are provided between ball holes 18d, 20d. In such a state, when the turning plate 17 turns, the detaining pieces 17a are pressed toward the plate 15 by the ball 19, and the lavatory seat holds an erected state while a moderate feeling is given by spring force of the plate spring 18.
