Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to collect sludge having a high sludge containing rate by dividing the inside of a device main body into a plurality of units having the narrow frontage and, at the same time, controlling independently suction volume of sludge every unit respectively.
CONSTITUTION: When a sludge collecting device 10 is advanced, unevenesses of a sedimentary sludge surface A are measured by a flap type sludge sensor 30 mounted to the ceiling of a main body thereof. In the case of a unit 13 in which the space between the sedimentary sludge surface A and ceiling of the main body is a small, flow of a flow controlling suction pump mounted to a duct is increased. When the unit 13 has a large space and is in a state to expose part of a suction port in a suction chamber directly in the water, flow of the suction pump is decreased.
