Abstract:
To reduce sludge treatment cost by combining specified polymer flocculants.
Polymer flocculants (A), (B) and (C) are combined. The polymer flocculant A contains 5-100 mol.% structural units of formula I and/or formula II (R1 and R2 are each H or methyl and X is an anion) and 0-30 mol.% structural units of formula III (B is COOH or CONHC4H8SO3H). The polymer flocculant B contains 10-100 mol.% repeating units of formula IV (A is O or NH, R1 is H or CH3, R2 is C3H6 or C3H6, R3 and R4 are each CH3 or C2H5, R5 is H, methyl, ethyl or benzly and X is a counter anion) and 0-30 mol.% repeating units of the formula III. The cationic polymer flocculant C contains ≥5 mol.% structural units of a dialkyldi(meth)allylammonium salt.
