PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge digestion tank which can reduce thermal energy required in digestion treatment, achieves low cost, and is not damaged in an earthquake.SOLUTION: The sludge digestion tank includes a tank body 1 comprising a cylindrical side plate portion 2, a roof plate portion 3 covering an upper portion of the side plate portion, and a bottom plate portion 4 disposed on a bottom portion in the side plate portion 2. A central portion of the bottom plate portion 4 is laid on a top face of a bottomed conical recess 15 formed in a base portion 13. An outer peripheral portion of the bottom plate portion 4 positioned in an outer periphery of the central portion, is laid on a flat surface 16 of the base portion 13 positioned in an outer periphery of the recess 15, and is joined to a bottom edge of the side plate portion 2. A guide cone plate 17 is supported on the outer peripheral portion of the bottom plate portion 4. The guide cone plate 17 extends downward to the central portion side of the bottom plate portion 4 with the same inclination as the cone presented by the recess 15. An inner circumferential edge portion of the guide cone plate 17 is positioned above an outer circumferential edge portion of the central portion of the bottom plate portion 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
