Abstract:
To provide a sludge treatment method capable of sufficiently reducing the amount of coagulant used for sludge treatment and to efficiently coagulating the sludge.SOLUTION: There is provided a sludge treatment method, including: a coagulant dissolving step of dissolving a coagulant in supplied water to obtain coagulant-dissolved water; and a mixing step of mixing coagulant-dissolved water and raw sludge. The coagulant dissolving step includes irradiating the supplied water and/or a mixed solution of the supplied water and the coagulant with electromagnetic waves to promote dissolution of the coagulant. The mixing step includes irradiating a mixture of coagulant-dissolved water and raw sludge with the electromagnetic waves and/or irradiating the raw sludge with electromagnetic waves at a stage before the mixing step to promote coagulation of the sludge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
