To provide a plant for slurry treatment which can recover the latent heat of vaporization supplied to a heating process in a drying process as latent heat of condensation and can reduce the amount of heat supplied to the drying process to achieve effective utilization of energy.
The plant for slurry treatment includes a filter press 110 for filtering and compressing slurry, a high temperature heat source 120 for supplying heat required to dry cakes obtained after filtering the slurry, and a vacuum pump 132 for sucking steam generated from the filter press, and further includes a blower 136 or compressor provided downstream of the vacuum pump to increase the temperature and pressure of the steam, and a condenser 112 for condensing the steam, whose temperature has been increased by the blower 136 or compressor, by using warm water, discharged from the filter press after being used for heating to dry the cakes in the filter press, as cooling water.
