Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly achieve junction between a hull and a deck, install a side protector by a smaller number of manhours for assemblage, and form a positioning part for tapping screws or rivets by a smaller number of manhours.
SOLUTION: The hull 14 and the deck 15 are jointed with each other at their circumferential edge parts, and the side protector 40 of a rail type is applied to their outer circumferential part, and the circumferential edge parts 14a and 15a of the hull and the deck are coupled with each other by tapping screws 50 or rivets 60 to compose a hull 11. In an outer side surface of the side protector 40 of a rail type, a positioning groove for the tapping screws or rivets is formed along length of it. The side protector 40 of a rail type comprises extruded matter.
