Abstract:
PURPOSE:To additionally provide a clutch mechanism to a reduction gear, by a method wherein a bearing at the one end of a rack is brought into contact with a sloped plate through the force of a spring, a threaded shaft is rotated by means of a bevel gear, and the angle of the sloped plate is changed with the aid of an arm having a female screw. CONSTITUTION:A pinion 5 is engaged with a shaft, engaged with a bevel gear having an output shaft 2, through a roller clutch 7, and is geared with a rack 6 to secure a gear box 4 to a body. A bearing at the one end of the rack 6 is brought into contact with a sloped plate 8 through the force of a spring 19, the slope plate 8 is located around a fulcrum 9 of a case 11, and is connected to a slide plate 12 through a coupling lever 18. Rotation of a handle 17 causes rotation of a bevel gear 16, and clutch function is provided by inclining the sloped plate 8 with the aid of an arm 14 through rotation of the bevel gear 16 by turning a handle 17. This enables provision of transmission function and clutch function.
