Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a hull by forming a deck member having the central portion formed of a large thickness rigid portion and both sides formed of a thin plate, forming said deck member integrally with a hull member of FRP and connecting the deck member to the hull body through struts on the central portion of the hull. CONSTITUTION:A deck member 3 and a hull member 2 are integrally formed with each other of FRP and both members are coupled with each other at the peripheral portion 23. The deck member 3 is formed in the widthwise central portion with a very thick rigid portion 30 and a opening 5 for cock pit while being formed on both sides with a thin plate portion. Struts 4 for coupling the deck member 3 with the hull member 2 are disposed in the central portion of the hull. The stern is formed with a transarm 7 of an erect wall 20. Since the hull constituting section is not provided with any frames and partition walls, the total weight of the hull can be reduced.
