Abstract:
PURPOSE:To protect a magnetic tape and a guide roller approaching a locking piece by providing a stopper to a cassette enclosure so as to regulate the displacement of the locking piece of the cover to a prescribed quantity. CONSTITUTION:The locking piece 16 to be deformed elastically locking the cover 4 is provided to the side wall face of the cassette enclosure 3, its rear end 16d is fitted to the supporting part 18 of a half 3A and the locking piece 16c at the other end is engaged with the engagement 4a of the cover 4. Further, a stopper 20 to regulate the displacement of the locking piece 16 is formed to the case 3 to block the displacement of the lock piece 16 over a prescribed quantity. Thus, the magnetic tape and the guide roller in the cassette case approaching the locking piece 16 are protected.
