Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a smell-repellent film-forming compsn. capable of forming a suitable film when applied on a base, preventing transfer or adhesion of an offensive smell to the base through the film and being easily freed of the smell transferred to the film itself when washed with water.
CONSTITUTION: A smell repellent film-forming compd. which contains 27-78wt.% aminated. silicon compd., 2-33wt.% polydiorganosiloxane having hydroxyl groups at the molecular terminals and a degree of a polymn of 3 to 50, and 17-43wt.% reactive silicone resin. The reactive silicone resin contains monovalent component units and tatravalent component units as shown in formula 1 at a molar ratio of 0.4:1 to 1.8:1, and also contains 2.0-4.0wt.% hydroxyl groups. The monovalent component unit is R3SiO1/2 (R is a 1-8C alkyl or aryl group) and the tetravalent component unit is SiO4/2.
