To provide simple, inexpensive, disposable and hygienic smoke discharging equipment which can efficiently removes smoke and odor generated while an electrocautery is used, and also to provide an electrocautery apparatus equipped with the same.

An attachable and detachable cap (11) is disposed on a head (21) of the body of the electrocautery (2) for covering the head. The cap has a suction hole (12) on its front end through which a scalpel top electrode (22) is inserted, and the open air around the scalpel top electrode is inhaled through the suction hole. The electrocautery apparatus is further characterized in that it is provided with an air discharging means (14 and 26) for guiding the open air introduced into the inside of the cap through the suction hole to a discharging pipe (31).
