To provide a smoke elimination system for a carbonization apparatus which downsizes a burner, dispenses with an air blower, reduces the amounts of fuel and electric power necessary for smoke elimination, recovers solids and liquids in a flue gas before combustion, decreases the amount of dust discharged outside, dispenses with parts such as a bag filter, enables pyroligneous acid to be recovered, and avoids the heating of substances such as a tar deposited in a flue gas pipeline even after the completion of carbonization.
This system is equipped with a smoke collection section 12 for collecting a flue gas generated by the carbonization of combustibles in a carbonization oven, a recovery section 40 for eliminating solids and liquids contained in the flue gas in the smoke collection section, a primary combustion section 46 for elevating the temperature of the flue gas from the smoke collection section with a burner, and a secondary combustion section 52 for burning and eliminating the flue gas of which the temperature is elevated with the primary combustion section.
