Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core structure for smooth core armature AC servo motor which can improve yield of a stator core material, can be manufactured and assembled easily, and has little loss. SOLUTION: A smooth core armature AC servo motor is provided with a stator 2, constituted by attaching armature coils 4 to the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical stator core 3, and a rotor 5 which is faced to the stator 2 with a gap in between and has permanent magnets 8, which are arranged on the rotator 5 in a state where the magnetic poles of the magnets 8 are changed alternately in polarity. The stator core 3 is formed by forming a plurality of longitudinal V-shaped notches 9A in silicon steel, constituting the metal plate of the core 3 and laminating one part of the steel sheet 9 upon another part of the sheet 9 in a helically wound state by bending the notches 9A. The number of the notches 9A per one round of the laminated steel 9 is adjusted, and a prime number relation is established between the numbers of notches 9A and of magnetic poles.
