Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear support which is resistant to any releasing load acting on the bottom of a shoe, can transmit the control force by a snowboarder or user in lateral direction and longitudinal direction, and surely allows the forward bending and rotation of the ankle without compromise, and prevent the comfortableness of snowboard shoes of general soft system from being lost. SOLUTION: Snowboard shoes of a type having a means to be fastened to a fixing mounting tool integrated with the upper surface of a snowboard have a shell 10 having an arch core and a main bottom 12. A reinforcing member and an insole 36 are arranged between the shell skin 10 and the main bottom 12, and the reinforcing member has a sidewall part surrounding the lower sheet part of the shell skin 10 in contact with it and a lower wall part 30 having the mounting part of the arch core to the shell skin 10. The insole 36 is formed of a foamed plastic material, and it can connected to the main bottom 12 so as to surround the reinforcing member from the outside, and also has a spoiler 18 fixed to the reinforcing member and having a shaft part 16 fixed thereto.
