To save air consumption and to permit the travelling of a cableway carrier not to be prevented by mounting a snow fall machine in the upper part of a cableway supporter so as to make snow fall in a slope and securing sufficient flight duration.

Water and air are supplied from a water passage 4 and an air passage 5 at the time of producing snow and a gun type snow producing device is used so as to inject them from its nozzle. A fan-type snow producing device for blowing air by a fan can be used. Water drops injected from the snow fall machine 3 is cooled till it reaches the slope 9 so as to fall as snow. The above flight duration is longer as compared with a case where snow is produced by placing the snow fall machine 3 on the ground since the machine 3 is mounted in the upper part of the cableway supporter. Therefore, heat is sufficiently lost during the flight so as to produce snow and, then, an air quantity is reduced. The snow fall machine is mounted in the upper part of the cableway supporter so that the travelling of the cableway carrier is not prevented.
