Title:
SNOW MELTING CONTROLLER AND SOLAR POWER GENERATING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3629987
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve application efficiency of system by detecting whether or not a solar battery can generate the power after starting the snow melting operation and then stopping the snow melting operation, when power generation becomes possible.
SOLUTION: A snow melting control apparatus 3 detects with a microcomputer 10 whether or not the solar power generating system 1 can generate the power, after the snow melting operation is started, based on the direction of current flowing into the strings 51 to 53 of the solar battery 2 and the detected values of a plurality of current sensors 91 to 93 for detecting the values of such a current. When the direction of the current flowing into the string 51 to 53 and the detected value of the plurality of sensors 91 to 93 for detecting the value of such current becomes 0 Amp or more, the snow melting operation stops because the power generated by the solar battery 2 exceeds the power required for the snow melting, and the solar power generation system 1 is in the condition to generate the power, thereby starting normal power generating operation. Accordingly, system application efficiency can be enhanced.
