To make durability and workability excellent and reduce costs, by increasing the mechanical strength and thermal efficiency of a heating coil unit, which is mounted on an object to be heated, etc., and heats the object inductively, in a snow-melting device for a switch part of a track, which prevents accumulation of snow and freezing at the switch part of the railroad track from causing the impossibility of switching from one track to another.
An inverter makes a high-frequency current supplied to the heating coil unit 5 which is mounted on the object to be heated such as a stock rail 3, a tongue rail and a base plate, so as to heat the object inductively. The unit 5 holds a coil holding member 7 which makes a coil 8 wound for holding around an outer frame member 6 forming an outer frame, and coupling members 9, which are composed of a high-magnetic-permeability material having high resistivity, are disposed in an outer peripheral part of the coil 8.
