To prevent a thermal effect by snow-melting members in providing the snow-melting members, which generate heat by the current that flows in a sheathed wire to prevent snow from accumulating on the wire, on the outside circumference of the wire.
A plurality of the snow-melting members 2 that generate heat by the current that flows in the sheathed wire 1 are mounted on the outside circumference of the wire 1 at a certain interval along the longitudinal direction of the wire 1. Each snow-melting member 2 is provided with a ring-shaped supporting member 21 that is mounted on the outside circumference of the wire 1; a ring-shaped heat-generating member 22 that is arranged on the outside circumference of the supporting member 21 and concentrically with it at the certain interval; and connecting members 23 that maintain a heat-insulating gap G between the heat-generating member 22 and the supporting member 21 and integrally connect these members 22, 21. The heat-generating member 22 is provided with a magnetic metal wire 22a formed by bending an iron-nickel alloy wire in the ring shape and a cover layer 22b that covers the outside circumference of the metal wire 22a. The cover layer 2b is integrated with the supporting member 21 via the supporting members 23.
