Abstract:

PURPOSE: To wash the electrical contacts of the carrier bars of the transporting mechanism of an electrodeposition coating line and to efficiently execute electrodeposition coating by supplying the hot water discharged from a decoction cell to containers for washing hot water provided in a washing cell and decoction cell in the electrodeposition coating line.
CONSTITUTION: The hot water of 80 to 90°C is kept discharged from the decoction cell 5 in the electrodeposition coating line 1 constituted by arranging a degreasing cell, etching cell, neutralizing cell, anodizing cell, electrolytic coloring cell, washing cell, decoction cell, electrodeposition cell, liquid draining cell, drying furnace, etc. The hot water of the overflow component is supplied to the small-sized washing hot water containers 7 provided one or more of the washing cells 9, 10, 6 and the decoction cell 5 by branch piping 3 from a pump for filtration and circulation of the decoction cell, by which the washing of the power feed parts of the carrier bars is executed. The metallic sludge, electrodeposition resin components, alkaline liquid, acids, etc., just sticking to the power feed parts of the carrier bars are removed to some extent by washing with water. The effect thereof is made higher as the water temp is higher.
