Abstract:

To provide a snowboard binding giving a good feeling of mounting and not harming a feeling of stability while sliding as well as a snowboard shoe to be attached to the binding.

The snowboard binding 10 according to this invention for removably attaching a snowboard shoe to a snowboard 12 is engaged with a fitting hook attached to the underside of the front part of the snowboard shoe and comprises a fitting rod 16 for engaging the snowboard shoe swingably, a catching mechanism 24 for removably catching the rear part of the snowboard shoe in a step-in state, and a centering pin 28 attached in a standing state so as to be engaged with a centering groove formed at the central part of the front end edge of the fitting hook in an open state.
