PURPOSE: To provide possibility of one-touch mounting of a socket for a decoration miniature lamp by introducing such a structure that the socket with wirings fitted is inserted in a hole at the rear surface of a panel, a projection for detaining is shrunk to penetrate the hole and is spread resiliently, and the panel is held thereby with a spring.

CONSTITUTION: A miniature lamp 1 is mounted at the foremost part of a socket body 3, and leads 2 are led out from the tail, and a projection for detaining 4 is installed protrusively at the periphery of the foremost or middle part of the body 3. The projection 4 is so structured as to shrink resiliently in the radial direction of the body 3, and one end of a coil spring 5 is supported by the tail of the body 3 and fitted thereon while the other end is made practicable to expand and contract in the axial direction. The body 3 is inserted from the foremost part so that the projection 4 passes through the socket mounting hole, and the hole edge of the panel is resiliently held by the projection 4 and the other end of spring 5. This enables one-touch mounting in the condition that the socket is in ready wired condition.
