Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent pieces of an ampul of medical water solution from being sucked when the ampul is opened and broken and to make the ampul suitable for a single dose of medical water solution by making a soft ampul made of CO2 permeable plastic material, filling the ampul with a dosage of sterilized water solution including prescribed active ingredients, and sealing the ampul.
CONSTITUTION: A dosage of water solution including 9-ethyl-6,9-dihydro-4, 6- dioxo-10-propyl-4H-pyrano(3,2-g)quinoline-2,8-dicarboxylic acid or other salt permissible in producing a medicine as active ingredients is sterilized, and a soft ampul made of CO2 permeable plastic material is filled with a dosage of the water solution and sealed. As CO2 permeates the ampul and dissolves in the water solution in the ampul and the pH of the water solution is reduced, the stability of the water solution is improved. Nedocromil sodium, etc., may be used as an active ingredient.
