Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft carbon fiber composite material, and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: The composite material includes a carbon fiber fabric having a surface having a three-dimensional texture, and a thermoplastic resin impregnating the carbon fiber fabric. The method includes: a process of preparing a thermoplastic resin, and melting the thermoplastic resin; a process of preparing a carbon fiber fabric having a three-dimensional texture on the surface, and coating the three-dimensional surface texture of the carbon fiber fabric with the molten thermoplastic resin; a process of impregnating the inside of the carbon fiber fabric with the thermoplastic resin by calcining the carbon fiber fabric; a process of coating at least one surface with the three-dimensional texture by impregnating the inside of the carbon fiber fabric with the thermoplastic resin by heating and pressing the carbon fiber fabric coated with a molten thermoplastic resin; and a process of obtaining a soft carbon fiber composite material having a three-dimensional texture by hardening the thermoplastic resin by cooling the carbon fiber fabric coated with the molten thermoplastic resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
