To provide a soft landing floating body structure having high safety against water pressure, easy to manufacture, and allowing on-site execution at a low cost.
The half-submerged soft landing floating body structure is provided with a floating body portion 1 invariably located under the water surface and having a large horizontal area, a deck section 2 invariably located above the water surface, a column portion 4 connecting them and having a small horizontal area, and a ballast water injecting/draining mechanism 3. Many foam styrol blocks B having vertically opened voids S are filled so that the voids S are communicated with each other in a caisson 11 having a base plate 7, outer peripheral walls 8, partition walls 9, and a top plate 10 made of fiber- reinforced concrete respectively to form the floating body portion 1. The floating body portion 1 is soft-landed on the underwater ground b by injecting ballast water W in the voids S.
