Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a soft magnetic alloy casting having excellent magnetic characteristics and intricate shapes with a simple magnetic annealing treatment at a low cost in the precision casting stage of an Fe-Ni type soft magnetic alloy having a specific compsn., by casting the alloy at the time. higher by a specific degree from the liquidus line of the alloy.

CONSTITUTION: An Fe-Ni soft magnetic alloy contg. 35W85wt% Ni is used as a raw material in the stage of producing a soft magnetic alloy casting having intricate shapes and excellent magnetic characteristics. The melt of such alloy is cast into a precision casting mold of lost wax or the like from the temp. higher by ≥50°C than the liquidus line temp. thereof, whereafter the molten metal is subjected to a simplified magnetic annealing treatment and the magnetic alloy casting having excellent magnetic characteristics is produced. 1 or ≥2 Kinds among <8% Si, <15% Mn, <26% Cu, <8% Mo are added to improve further the magnetic characteristics, and <8% Cr is added to improve the corrosion resistance and further 1 or ≥2 kinds among Nb, V, Ti, Ta, W are added in specific amts. in order to improve the wear resistance.
