Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a soil improving agent composition, capable of moderating defects of sulfur such as lowering of the soil pH and further developing synergistic effects of both components of the sulfur and humic acid by blending the sulfur with the humic acid obtained from leonhardite.
CONSTITUTION: The composition is obtained by blending preferably 99.99-90wt.% sulfur with 0.01-10wt.% humic acid. At least one of zeolite, vermiculite, perlite, coconut shell chip, charcoal, coconut shell coal, peat moss, bark compost, bentonite and diatomaceous earth, as necessary, in an amount of ≤99wt.% may be blended in this composition. Furthermore, this composition has preferably ≤4mm particle diameter and is preferably applied in an amount of 20-100kg/10a.
