Title:
SOLAR BATTERY DEVICE INSTALLED ON WATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS55117288
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent variation of electric output from a solar battery device by mounting the battery on a float and automatically tracing it to the sun. CONSTITUTION:A resistance plate 6 is mounted under a float 1 to prevent the float 1 from rotating due to wave, ocean current and wind. A screw 7 is mounted at the end of the plate 6, and the float 1 is rotated in a wheel ring 4. Two photodetectors in a sensor 8 is provided to direct the sum at 90 deg. inclined each other in the vicinity of the light receiving surface of a solar battery 3, the screw is operated due to the difference of the output currents from the photodetectors to rotate the float so as to trace the sun. Since the float 1 does not almost alter the vertical direction thereof due to the swell of the waves, the solar battery is always directed to the sun to produce an electric output without variation.
