The fixing method of the dial 20 and solar battery 10 of an electric timepiece with solar battery to the exterior of the timepiece is modified in such a way that both of the dial 20 and battery 10 are fixed to the exterior by means of the battery 10 only by uniting the dial 20 to the battery 10 in one body. For uniting the dial 20 to the battery 10, a bonding method, etc., can be used and, when an elastic adhesive is used at the time of bonding the dial 20 to the battery 10 with an adhesive 30, the dial 20 can be bonded to the battery 10 more effectively. When the timepiece is constituted in such way, the impact force applied to the dial 20 can be reduced and the dial 20 is prevented from being broken even when impacts are applied to the dial 20.
