Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell array in which a load carrying capacity of solar cell modules can be increased.SOLUTION: The solar cell array comprises two first solar cell modules 1 in a polygonal shape and one second solar cell module 2 in a square shape. One of the first solar cell modules 1 is arranged to have its second side opposing an upper base of the second solar cell module 2, and the other of the first solar cell modules 1 is arranged to have its third side opposing a second side of the second solar cell module 2. Assuming that the shortest distance from a point of intersection between a virtual line extending from a second end of a fourth side of the first solar cell module 1 in a longitudinal direction of the fourth side and a virtual line extending from a second end of the second side of the first solar cell module 1 in a longitudinal direction of the second side, to the second end of the second side is D, the first side has a length of nD (n is an integer of 1 or more), the second side has a length of mD (m is an integer larger than n), and the upper base and the lower base have a length of 2D.
