Abstract:

To make it impossible to recognize visually a solar cell from the visual appearance of the solar cell while a full optical energy is fed to the solar cell by a method wherein a solar cell device is provided with a thin film metal layer, which attenuates reflected light from the solar cell, reflects a part of external light and transmits the remaining external light, and optical members, which control the extent of an arbitrary wavelength at a prescribed transmittance to the external light.

A thin film metal layer 14 is provided on the front surface of a glass substrate 12 for shielding reflected light from a solar cell 13, for decreasing the quantity of outgoing light to the front surface side of the substrate 12 and moreover, for obtaining a color, which is more superior in perceived color, by feeding effectively external light to an interference filter 15. Moreover, the filter 15 and a diffused layer 16 are provided on the external light side on the front surface side of the layer 14 as optical members by laminating in order. By controlling the ratio of a partial transmission to a partial reflection by the film thickness of the layer 14, the mean quantity of reflection can be ensured in regard to the whole visible light region. Moreover, by providing the layer 16 on a transparent conductive film, a change in a tincture of color due to a positional relation between the direction of observation of the optical members and the direction of observation of users is prevented from being generated.
