Title:
SOLAR CELL MODULE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1140838
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a solar cell module which is capable of preventing electric power from being outputted through an output cord when the solar cell module suffers a fire, and making an operator, who carries out a removing operation, to prevent receiving an electrical shock due to touching the output cord of the solar cell module, when the solar cell module is in a fire or after a fire has been extinguished.

When a solar cell module 1 suffers a fire, heat is conducted up to a temperature fuse unit 5 through output cords 4a and 4b which come down from the solar cell module 1, the temperature fuse of the temperature fuse unit 5 is heated and fused, and the output cord 4a is cut off at a halfway point. Through this setup, electric power outputted from the solar cell module 1 is transmitted only to a halfway point, so that the possibility of an operator receiving an electrical shock when he touches the output cords 4a and 4b is reduced.
