To provide a solar radiation adjusting apparatus which can shield solar radiation from the sun at high altitude in the summer season, and is hardly affected by a blowing-up force of wind.

The solar radiation adjusting apparatus 1A is comprised of an eaves main body 1 and a solar radiation shielding body 2a. The eaves main body 1 is of a box shape with its upper surface frontward protruding from an external wall 5 on a down grade, and is provided with a housing portion 11 of the solar radiation shielding body 2a, on a front portion of the eaves main body 1. The solar radiation shielding body 2a is rigidly formed by hanging a shielding main body 22 from a side edge of a horizontal base portion 21 in a manner forming an inverted L-shaped cross section, and having the same transverse width as the width of the eaves main body 1. Further, the housing portion 21 has rails 22, 22 so as to vertically guide the base portion 21 of the solar radiation shielding body 2a.
