Title:
SOLAR RADIATION SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3531283
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a solar radiation sensor which can be inexpensively manufactured without adding a process of forming a light shielding film to a manufacturing process of a sensor chip.
CONSTITUTION: In a sensor chip 1, a circular first light receiving part 8a is arranged in the center, and an annular ring shaped second light receiving part 8b is arranged in its outside, and a signal processing circuit part 9 is further arranged on its outside. The sensor chip 1 is formed as a package 3 molded by transparent epoxy resin in a state of being mounted on a lead frame 2, and a light shielding mask 5 is formed on its surface. The signal processing circuit part 9 is arranged in an area separate by a prohibiting distance (xo) or more expressed by an expression from the edge of the light shielding mask 5, and any incident light does not reach there. When the solar radiation light is made incident at an angle of 45°, it becomes a peak value. Since a process of covering an upper surface of the signal processing circuit part 9 of the sensor chip 1 with a light shielding member becomes unnecessary, cost can be reduced.
