To provide a soldering apparatus having high productivity and reliability, a soldering apparatus that can make a pressing face meet the joining face of a workpiece by uniformly and elastically holding down the entire face of the workpiece, that dispenses with strict control of parallelism of a product, and that prevents deformation and breakage of the workpiece.
A first soldering member (a) and a second soldering member b of workpieces K are superposed and held on a workpiece-holding base 1. Then, a moving member 5 is freely movably provided along the workpiece-holding base, while a holding leg tool 15 composed of a leaf spring whose surface is parallel with the horizontal plane is fixedly mounted in one end part on the moving member. The extended end part is protruded to the workpiece-holding base side, folded back with the horizontal plane maintained, and extended to the moving member side, with the folded back formation and the extended formation repeated in multiple times. Finally, the other end part is extended to the upper face side of the workpiece-holding base, with a workpiece holder 12 attached to this end part, and with the workpiece held on the workpiece-holding base concurrently with the vertical movement of the moving member. Thus, the first joining member and the second joining member are heated through the workpiece holder by a heating source 18 and soldered.
