Title:
SOLDIER PILE CUT-OF WALL CONSTRUCTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09111754
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the collapse of a surrounding soil and flooding by excavating a pile hole in the outer peripheral area of an underground structure and a thin ditch communicated between pile holes and filling up cement milk thereinto and placing a steel-made soldier pile and a cut-off panel and thereby constructing an earth retaining wall.

Pile holes 11 are drilled with a drilling machine with a specified spacing to a depth greater than an excavation surface 21 in the outer peripheral area of an underground structure while adjacent holes 11 are communicated with each other at the same time. A thin ditch 12 whose width is smaller than the diameter of the pile holes 11, is excavated. Then, cement milk is filled up in the thin ditch 11 and the pile holes 11. A soldier pile 13 made of 1 section steel or H section steel or the like whose length is equivalent to substantially the whole length of the pile holes 11, are placed into the pile holes 11 where a member which welds an angle material 20 with both ends of a steel-made cut-off panel 16, is pushed into the thin ditch 12, thereby constructing an earth retaining wall which comprises a soldier pile post 14 and a cut-off panel 15 as a stress material. A frame comprising a walling 3 or a strut 44 and an angle brace is constructed on the earth retaining wall. Even when the inside of the earth retaining wall is excavated to the excavation surface 21, this construction makes it possible to prevent underground water from being flooded without the collapse of the soil in the surrounding area.
