PURPOSE: To stabilize the engine operation by employing a spring for closing a valve body made of shape-memory alloy returning to the extended condition upon exceeding of the fuel temperature over predetermined level thereby making the injection constant irrespectively of the fuel temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A spring 26 is employed in place of a spring 16 and made of shape-memory alloy which will be contracted under normal temperature but recover to the extended condition upon exceeding of the fuel temperature over approximately 50°C. Even when the fuel in the space A exceeds over the boiling temperature and enters into gas phase, the spring 16 will recover to the extended condition thus to increase the load against the valve body 15 resulting in relatively slow variation of injection. Since the injection is approximately constant irrespectively of the fuel temperature, the engine operation is stabilized.
