Abstract:

To reduce dispersion of working time due to manufacturing dispersion by prohibiting rising of a detection value of an electric current detection means beyond a specified electric current value until a specified period of time passes after voltage is applied on a solenoid coil and allowing rising of the electric current value at the time when the specified period of time passes.

Rising of an electric current value I beyond a specified electric current value Is is prohibited until a specified period of time Ts passes after voltage is applied on a solenoid coil. Thereafter, when the specified period of time Ts passes, rising of the electric current value I is allowed. Consequently, a fuel injection valve stands by once in a state before the fuel injection valve is actually opened until the specified period of time Ts passes, and thereafter, the fuel injection valve is actually opened. That is, dispersion of delay time is decided by time required for the specified electric current value Is to reach an electric current value Ia from an electrified stand-by state, and the specified period of time Ts is not concerned in dispersion of the delay time. Consequently, it is possible to reduce dispersion of working time.
