To reduce the number of component items and man-hours for assembly, to facilitate assembly, and to greatly reduce the cost of assembly by interposing a spring between a main valve element and a recess in a pipe stand.

A cylindrical solenoid 11 is provided within a case 12 and a plunger 13 sliding within the solenoid 11 is biased downward by a spring 14. An auxiliary valve element 15 is provided at one end of the plunger. A tubular pipe stand 16 is secured to an upper cylinder part 17 on the inner periphery of the solenoid and to a bottom part 18 by welding or the like. A threaded part 19 is provided on the outer periphery of the pipe stand 16. A main valve element 20 is slidably provided on the inner periphery of the pipe stand 16 and a through hole 21 is bored in the center part of the main valve element 20. A recess 31 is formed in the inner surface of the pipe stand 16 by boring. A spring 24' is interposed between the recess 31 formed by boring and the stepped part 23 of the main valve element 20 and a cylindrical part 241 and a conical part 242 continuing therewith are integrated with each other. The spring 24' works as a valve opening spring and the conical part 242 works as a support part therefor.
