To provide a solid fuel stove capable of supplying solid fuel such as a woody pellet and outside air to a combustion chamber without needing electric power, thus the solid fuel stove can be installed at a place limited in power supply such as a lodge.
As a structure of a protective plate 5 covering an opening at the combustion chamber 6 side of a fuel supply pipe 3 for supplying the solid fuel to the combustion chamber 6 is hollow, and the outside air is supplied to the solid fuel in the combustion chamber 6 through the hollow portion, flame in burning the solid fuel can be prevented from spreading to the solid fuel of the fuel supply pipe 3, and the solid fuel can be supplied by a natural fall. Further a wind velocity at the combustion chamber 6 side is increased by making a diameter of an air distribution pipe for supplying the outside air to the combustion chamber 6 smaller than a diameter at an outside air intake side, and thus the outside air can be supplied to the combustion chamber 6 without using an air distribution fan. Since the stove can be used without needing electric power, the maintenance of the stove is easy as it is free from a failure.
