Abstract:
PURPOSE: To insulate a solid insulated bus with high reliability by arranging an insulator provided with an external conductive layer composed of sliver-based conducting paint on its external surface around a conductor and installing a stress cone to part of the external conductive layer, and then, a conductive paint layer containing granular carbon on another part of the outer periphery of the external conductive layer.
CONSTITUTION: A small-diameter section 15, large-diameter section 14, and tapered section 13 which connects the sections 15 and 14 to each other are formed in an insulator 3 composed of an epoxy resin. In addition, silver-based conductive paint is applied to the insulator 3 to form an external conductive layer 7 and a carbon-based conductive paint layer 8 is provided on the layer 7. The layer 8 is formed to cover part of the layer 7 formed on the tapered section 13 and large-diameter section 14 of the insulator 3 and the part of the layer 7 on the outside of a terminal. Therefore, an insulated section 5 can be insulated with high reliability, because the adhesion of silver powder to the section 5 is prevented at the time of setting a stress cone 4 on the layer 7.
