To provide a solid-liquid separator which can separate, for example, the mixture of garbage and kitchen drainage into solid garbage and liquid.
A transfer roller C comprising rollers 50a and 50b is installed to make a prescribed upward inclination in the conveyance direction, and slurry is supplied onto the roller row. The driving force of driving motors 21 and 22 is transmitted to rollers 50a and 50b through driving timing pulleys 23 and 24, each following timing pulley 52 group, and timing belts 61 and 62 wound between both. Liquid in the slurry is prevented from flowing in the conveyance direction together with the solid garbage, and the slurry can be separated smoothly into the solid garbage and the liquid. By supplying the slurry onto the roller row which rotates the slurry, the solid garbage can hardly adhere to the surface of the roller C so that the clogging between the rollers 50a and 50b can be prevented.
