To provide a solid polymer electrolyte film which has film strength practically necessary for use in a fuel cell or the like, has high conductivity in a low-humidity state as well as in a hydrous state, and can be inexpensively produced using an environmentally safe solvent, and a method for producing the same.
The solid polymer electrolyte film is obtained by forming a silicone composition into a film and curing it, wherein the silicone composition includes an organopolysiloxane and an ion-conducting high polymer and/or its derivative prepared by copolymerizing monomers including (A) an alkoxysilyl group-containing unsaturated monomer having one or more alkoxysilyl groups and one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds within a molecule, (B) an alkenylsilyl group-containing unsaturated monomer having one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds directly bonding to a silicon atom and one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds not directly bonding to a silicon atom within a molecule, and (C) an acid group-containing unsaturated monomer having one or more acid groups and one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds within a molecule.
