Abstract:
To provide a solid polymer fuel cell superior in power generation performance by improving drainage in a catalyst layer.
This is the solid polymer fuel cell in which a membrane electrode assembly in a pair of the catalyst layers is arranged on both sides of the solid polyelectrolyte membrane which is pinched by separators having a gas flow passage, and this is the solid polymer fuel cell in which at least the porosity of the one catalyst layer increases from the entrance side toward the exit side of the gas flow passage.
