Abstract:
To provide a solid silane coupling agent whose addition to a sealing agent, paint, varnish etc., gives them excellent adhesiveness with metallic materials, inorganic and organic materials and also an excellent storage stability and to provide a powdery paint and a resin composition useful as sealing materials containing the same.
The solid silane coupling agent comprises as essential components (A) 1-30 wt% silane coupling agent represented by general formula (1) or (2), wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group, R4 and R5 are a 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon group and n is an integer of 1-3, (B) 0.1-45 wt% silane coupling agent containing an imidazole group and (C) 50-98 wt% phenol compound.
